Boy At Sea

from HK$1,520.00

The fishing village of Ma Wan lies at the mouth to the East entrance of Hong Kong Harbour. Stilted concrete houses line the coast as it bends round to the Lei Yue Mun lighthouse with Kowloon rising up in the distance.

It’s not obvious at first, but all of a sudden your eye is drawn to the boy floating in a rubber ring. He’s fishing in the harbour waters, tied to the shore with a thin piece of rope. This has to be one of my favourite images and perfectly sums up the contrasts that make up this incredible city.

This is a limited edition print of 30 (per size).

This image is printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo - the world's first Fine Art paper made from 90% bamboo fibres. It has a soft, warm texture that gives this image soul. It's environmentally friendly and contains no acid, lignin or optical brighteners.

Custom Sizes
If you love this image but don't see a size that works for you, please contact me with the size you’re looking for and I can give you a quote.

Sizing Details
The print size above refers to the size of the printed image, not the paper size. There is a 3.5cm border to allow for framing.

Framing Recommendation
In most cases you will need to get your prints custom framed as they are sized to present the image in the best possible way rather than using standard sizes.
I recommend your prints are framed using museum quality, UV resistant glass to provide maximum protection. Try to avoid placing prints in direct sunlight.

Shipping

  • Orders ship 1-2 business days after your order has been placed

  • FREE delivery anywhere in Hong Kong, either by hand or by SF Express

  • International orders are shipped using SpeedPost - which is a type of registered mail so you can track it. It costs HK$250. I wish I could offer better pricing on international shipping but as a small business I can’t access cheaper rates.
