Finalist - International Photography Awards
I’m delighted to have made it into the selected finalists of the International Photography Awards: Deeper Perspectives. The Deeper Perspectives competition is a series of photos, rather than a single image, with some accompanying text that…well…goes deeper into a subject. I didn’t start out with anything like this in mind, but it’s good to get some acknowledgement.
The work that made it to the finals was called Baidae: The Hamar Bride - a series of images about a young woman who has to spend 6 months confined to her hut as part of her initiation to married life and the tribe.
The main image is below, but you can also visit the entry page on the IPA website.
